The Education Division of the Association is responsible for all of the Association's activities in the fields of elementary, secondary, and post-secondary education.
There are now two education committees, one for K-12 education and the other for college and university education. The appointed members of these committees serve as a central resource of information and activity responsive to the educational concerns of teachers and scholars in all fields and at all levels of classical studies. The Joint Committee (with ACL) on the Classics in American Education and advises the Vice President of the Education Division on the projects and activities of the other standing committees of the division.
