The Ancient Studies Department at the University of Maryland Baltimore County invites applications for the position of Visiting Lecturer for the fall semester 2017. A Ph.D. in a discipline related to the ancient world is preferred by the time of appointment; candidates who are ABD will also be considered. A commitment to inclusive excellence is required. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher trained in ancient Greek and Latin, have experience with delivery of online content, and be able to teach Classical Mythology in both hybrid and online formats, Greek Civilization, and Intermediate Latin.
