Reed College invites applications for a two-year visiting appointment in Classics and Humanities beginning August 2018. We are seeking a classicist with a strong background in Greek and Latin literature. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. The appointee will teach Greek and Latin language and literature courses, advise senior theses, and may teach in Reed’s first-year Humanities course. Candidates should have the Ph.D. in hand or near completion by fall 2018.
