The Department of Classics at the University of Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the archaeology and material culture of the ancient world, to preferably commence July 1, 2015. Candidates will be expected to have the Ph.D. in hand before the appointment and to provide evidence of success as a teacher.
