Late Antique Mediterranean. The University of Maryland, College Park invites applications from scholars of the late antique Mediterranean, 200-800 CE. Preference will be given to those with a demonstrated ability to offer classes on the classical world as well as the late antique period. The successful candidate should show exceptional scholarly promise and evidence of excellence in teaching. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate lecture courses and upper-level undergraduate seminars as well as graduate seminars on specialized topics; advising graduate students; and engaging in curriculum development. Candidates must have Ph.D. in hand by July 31, 2015.
