The University of Oklahoma invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or advanced Assistant Professor to begin in the Fall 2015 semester. The successful candidate will teach four undergraduate courses per year in support of our Classics and Letters programs. Evidence of experience teaching courses in Classical civilization and languages is required. The area of research specialization is ancient Greek language and culture; evidence of a research agenda is required. Candidates with an interest in digital humanities projects are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. in Classics is required by August 16, 2015; preference will be given to candidates whose dissertations will be complete by January 2015. Salary competitive.
