The University of Arizona Department of Classics is seeking to fill a tenure-stream position for a Hellenist with specialization in Classical Epic and/or Drama. The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in hand. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research agenda in their specialization, to teach Greek language and literature, as well as classes in translation at all levels (undergraduate and MA), and to supervise students in our vibrant MA program.
