The Department of Greek and Roman Studies invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer with a specialization in Classical Studies, including strengths in teaching Greek and Roman Archaeology. He/She will be expected to teach six courses over two semesters. Applicants should hold the PhD and have demonstrable skill in teaching a broad range of courses in Classical studies. Preference will be given to instructors who already have experience teaching material related to the following courses on offer for the 2015-16 academic year:

Fall 2015

GRS 100A Introduction to Greek Civilization

GRS 371 Greek Art and Archaeology

GRS 374 Pompeii and Herculaneum

Spring 2016

GRS 200 Greek and Roman Mythology

GRS 250 Greek and Latin Roots of English in Science and the Social Sciences

GRS 372 Roman Art and Archaeology
