1) The Department of Classics invites applications for a one-year, adjunct lecturer position in Classics with a specialization in history (a specialization in Roman history is preferred). The teaching load is five quarter courses (e.g. 2-2-1), and includes sections of the following courses: Roman Republic, Roman Empire, a two-quarter, cross-disciplinary course in the Core for first-year students, and an upper-division language course. Proven excellence in teaching undergraduates is essential. Deadline for applications is March 8, 2016.
