The Department of Classics at the University of Mississippi (http://classics.olemiss.edu/) invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have the Ph.D. in hand, with teaching experience in Latin and courses in Classical Civilization. Fall 2016 courses are set: two sections of Latin 101 and one section of CLC 106 (Classical Mythology); three Spring 2017 courses will be chosen in consultation with the successful candidate.
