The Department of Classical & Modern Languages & Literatures at Texas Tech University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Classics for academic year 2016-17 (1 year).

Candidates should be experienced and dynamic teachers with a demonstrated interest in digital pedagogy; the research area is open. Teaching duties (3 courses per semester) will be comprised primarily of courses in translation, especially Ancient Sports and Mythology; the remainder of the teaching duties will be fulfilled with Greek Civilization, Roman Civilization and/or undergraduate Greek and Latin courses. In addition, the position will entail enhancing the online versions of Mythology and Ancient Sports and assisting the Undergraduate advisor in maintaining and building the BA program.
