Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Classics

The Department of Classics at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. by August 28, 2017 and will have strong research interests in ancient Greek prose literature. Possible areas of specialization include oratory, rhetorical theory, historiography, medicine and science, the novel, and philosophy. The position will also require the ability to teach a broad range of topics and levels in Greek culture and literature in translation as well as in Greek.
