The Department of Classical Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for its full-time Schrader Visiting Assistant Professorship in Classical Archaeology for the academic year 2017/18. The successful candidate will teach two advanced undergraduate courses in Greek Art and Archaeology and two large lecture courses (Ancient Athletics and Classical Mythology) over the course of the year. This position carries an annual salary of $60,000 and a $2,000 research budget. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. with strength in classical archaeology by July 1.
