Summary: The Department of Classics at Santa Clara University, a Catholic Jesuit University, invites applications for a one-year, adjunct lecturer position in Classics to begin in September 2017. The teaching load is seven quarter courses (e.g., 3-2-2), not to exceed three courses per quarter. Teaching responsibilities include sections of a cross-disciplinary two-course sequence in the Core for first-year students, Intermediate Latin, and the Elementary Latin sequence.
