The University of Puget Sound invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Department of Classics beginning in August, 2017. Responsibilities include teaching first-year Latin, Latin or Greek at the advanced level, classical myth, and an advanced undergraduate course in translation of the candidate’s design. Ph.D. is required by time of appointment. Our normal teaching load is three courses per semester. This position has been approved as a full-time position and is eligible for benefits.
