The Department of Classical Studies at DePauw University invites applications for a three-year Postdoctoral Scholar beginning in the 2017-18 academic year. We seek a broadly-trained Classicist to teach Latin, Greek, and Classical Civilization courses at all undergraduate levels. Ph.D. defense successfully completed by the time position starts in August 2017, but not prior to 2014. The position carries a 2-2 teaching load, and post-doctoral scholars are offered employment benefits, faculty development benefits, mentoring, and opportunities to present research. Applicants should be committed to undergraduate teaching.
