The Department of the Classics seeks applications for a part-time lecturer in Latin Literature. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2017 or January 1, 2018. The lecturer will be responsible for two courses, either teaching both in a single semester or one course each term, comprising two graduate courses, i.e., advanced prose composition, and a reading course covering the graduate reading list in Latin. The lecturer may also conduct independent reading courses with individual graduate students, advise and evaluate senior theses, and contribute to the supervision of graduate research.

The position is for one semester (if both courses are taught in one semester) or one year (if one course is taught in the fall term and one course is taught in the spring term).
