Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a one-year lecturer in Classics and Religious Studies for the 2017-2018 academic year. Successful candidates must have a PhD in hand by July 1, 2017 and must be prepared to teach courses in Greek (Classical and Koine) at all undergraduate levels, including Intermediate Greek (Plato); Classics courses in translation; and courses in Religious Studies at all undergraduate levels, including Sexuality in Early Christianity, Orthodoxy and Heresy in Early Christianity, and Scriptures and Cultural Traditions. Duties will include teaching three courses per semester and some service to the Department of Classics and the Program in Religious Studies. Applicants should submit a cover letter and a curriculum vitae including the names and addresses of three references. Applications should be sent via email to ReligiousStudies@wustl.edu.
