Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics for the 2018-2019 academic year beginning August 2018.This is a one-year appointment.

Duties: Teach 7 undergraduate courses/AY in Classics, Greek, and/or Latin as determined byprogrammatic needs and demand.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Classics or related field by the time of the appointment. Successful standalone teaching experience in Latin or Greek and courses taught in English. Research program. Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred: Familiarity with undergraduate classics courses such as mythology, sex/gender, Greek and Roman literature.
