Onassis Postdoctoral Fellow for Humanities Education and Outreach
With generous support from the Onassis Foundation, the Paideia Institute is seeking a Classics Ph.D. for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship in its New York Office. Competitive candidates will have a strong knowledge of Ancient Greek literature and culture, an interest in outreach and public education, an entrepreneurial attitude, and an openness to exploring a non-traditional career in the humanities outside of Academia. Responsibilities will include curriculum creation for the Aequora program with a focus on Ancient Greek, management of the Aequora and Legion Project networks, a supervisory role in the Institute's Summer Humanities Internship in Rome, and teaching in Paideia's Living Greek in Greece High School program.
DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
The Paideia Institute is seeking a development officer to work in its New York office. Applicants should have a background in fundraising, grant-writing, and donor management and should be familiar with CRM software. The development officer’s duties will include donor management and grant-writing, as well as working closely with the President to form fundraising strategies. B.A. required.
PROGRAM MANAGER
The Paideia Institute is seeking a program manager to work in its New York office. Responsibilities will be mainly administrative, including management of the Institute's correspondence and program applications as well as assisting on development and outreach. B.A. required.
