The Department of Classics at Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a full-time Lecturer for the 2018-2019 academic year. Successful candidates must have a PhD in hand by July 1, 2018, and must be prepared to teach courses in Greek and Latin at all levels (including, in Fall 2018, introductory Greek and two sections of intermediate Latin), and at least one course on a classical topic in translation. Teaching duties will be supplemented by some service to the Department of Classics. The department maintains Classics and Ancient Studies undergraduate major programs, an MA program, and a small PhD program.
