The Department of History at Columbia University seeks to hire a scholar at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor in the field of Roman History to begin 1 July 2019. The successful candidate will be expected to offer graduate and undergraduate seminars, broad survey classes on Roman history, and teach in the College's Core Curriculum.
The successful applicant will show evidence of innovative scholarship and experience with teaching and advising, and have the Ph.D. in hand by 1 July 2019.
