The Department of Classics at Georgetown University invites applications for a possible one-year position (2019/20) as a visiting assistant professor in Roman history and culture. Teaching load is three courses per semester; the candidate is expected to teach undergraduate classes in Roman history and culture in translation at all levels and may also teach Latin. PhD must be in hand by the time of taking up the appointment.

By 18 February 2019, applicants should submit a cv and cover letter (combined in one file), as well as three letters of recommendation.
