The School of History, Classics, and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh is pleased to invite applications for a full time (35 hours), fixed term 12-month lectureship in Roman Archaeology and History within the department of Classics.

The successful candidate will have a track record of internationally excellent publications, proportionate to career stage. A research speciality anywhere in the broad area of Roman art, archaeology or history, and from any period, is welcome. The candidate will be expected offer teaching in both Roman archaeology and Roman history, including broad surveys, specialist honours courses, and supervision of undergraduate and master’s dissertations.

Salary: £40,792-£48,677 per annum.
