The Departments of History and Classics & Archaeology at Loyola Marymount University invite applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in ancient Mediterranean history, beginning August 2019. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 3 courses for the Department of History and 3 courses for the Department of Classics & Archaeology, as follows:

  • Fall 2019
    • CLAR 2240 Ancient Greece
    • HIST 1010 Premodern World History (2 sections)
  • Spring 2020
    • CLAR 2250 Ancient Rome
    • CLAR upper-division course (determined in consultation with department chair)
    • HIST upper-division course (determined in consultation with department chair)
