The Classics Department of Fordham University invites applications for a limited term, adjunct instructor position for the Spring of 2020. The position entails teaching an Introductory Roman History Course and an upper level, writing intensive course in either reception studies (“The Classical Tradition in Fiction and Film”) or legal history (“Law and Society in Greece and Rome”).

Applicants should be ABD, and prior teaching experienced is preferred. A letter of application, CV, evidence of teaching experience (such as current syllabi and student evaluations), and a letter of recommendation should be sent via email to Prof. Cristiana Sogno (sogno@fordham.edu). Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Candidates will be apprised of their status by December 20, 2019.
