The Department of Classical & Modern Languages and Literatures (CMLL) at Mississippi State University is seeking excellent candidates for a one year terminal salaried position, with full benefits, at the rank of Instructor of Classics.

The successful candidate will have a record of teaching excellence at the college or university level and a MA or MAT in classical languages. Should be able to teach at the beginning and intermediate levels. ABDs or degree pending will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications:

- A record of effective teaching at the college or university level
-MA or MAT in classical languages
-Ability to teach at the beginning and intermediate levels

Preferred Qualifications:

- PHD in classical languages
-Ability to teach both classical languages
