The Department of Classics at Dartmouth College seeks to appoint a full-time non-tenure-track Lecturer for the 2022-23 academic year, to begin September 1, 2022. This one-year position requires teaching five elementary to intermediate Latin courses spread over three ten-week academic quarters running from September to November, January to early March, and mid-March to mid-June. The position comes with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Required qualifications for the position are a PhD or ABD in Classics or a closely related field. In evaluating applications, we look for evidence of an active research program together with proven excellence in a range of teaching assignments.
