The Department of Classics at Washington and Lee University seeks a classicist for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. Candidates should have their Ph.D. in hand by July 2009 and show evidence of excellence in teaching. We are looking primarily for a Hellenist, but the successful candidate will be able to teach Greek and Latin at all levels.
