Willamette University invites applications for a definite full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Classics and History to teach undergraduate courses in the history of the ancient Mediterranean world, historical methods, and Latin and Greek languages. Applicants should also be interested in designing a course for Willamette's freshman seminar "College Colloquium." Teaching load is three-three, but will be reduced campus-wide to three-two in 2010. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment.
