YALE UNIVERSITY – NEW HAVEN, CT
The Department of Classics at Yale University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in the field of Greek Literature, beginning July 1, 2008. Applicants should have the PhD in hand by that date. Candidates should be prepared to teach a wide range of language, literature, and civilization courses at all levels, from beginning Greek to the seminars in the Graduate Program.

Applications, including a curriculum vitae, letters of reference from three referees, and a sample of work of no more than 20 pages, should be addressed to Professor Egbert J.
