"Teaching Classics in Prisons: Humanism, Identity, and the Building of Civic Bridges."
Rutgers Classicist, Emily Allen-Hornblower, will be sharing her experience bringing ancient Greek and Latin texts into America's prisons, testimony to the vitality of the classics in the most unexpected places. The presentation will take place on Thursday, April 6, @ 5:30pm on Fordham's Rose Hill campus (Duane Library 351). All are welcome to attend.
