Baylor University, Department of Classics, invites applications for a one-year replacement position at the rank of Lecturer beginning August 2002. The teaching assignment may include instruction in both languages at the beginning through advanced levels, as well as energetic involvement in the Department's academic community. The person appointed will be expected to engage students actively and intellectually both in and out of the classroom. The Classics major at Baylor is philologically based, emphasizing a significant quantity of reading in the primary languages.
