General Information for All Annual Meetings
Every winter, the Society for Classical Studies holds a joint meeting with the Archaeological Institute of America. In addition to the presentation of individual papers and panels, features of the annual meeting include an exhibit hall for browsing and purchasing the latest books from a variety of publishers; roundtable discussion sessions; dramatic performances by the Committee on Ancient and Modern Performance; meetings and receptions of affiliated groups; and much more.

Update 9/24/2024:
Call for Annual Meeting Volunteers: SCS is seeking volunteers (students, contingent faculty, and independent scholars) to assist on-site in Philadelphia with registration, hybrid sessions, and events during the Annual Meeting. Volunteers will receive free registration after completing their volunteer assignment. The deadline to fill out this form is November 1 at 5pm ET: Volunteer at the Annual Meeting
Participation Funding: SCS is offering participation stipends for the 2025 Annual Meeting for students, contingent faculty, and unemployed scholars who would otherwise not be able to be attend. Please fill out the form by November 1 at 5PM ET: Apply for Participation Funding
Childcare / Dependent Care Subsidies: Funds may be used for care on-site at the meeting or at home. The deadline for applications is December 1, 2024 at 5pm ET: Apply for Childcare / Dependent Care Subsidies

2025 Annual Meeting Registration Now Open
Registration for the 2025 AIA/SCS Joint Annual Meeting is now open! Please use the following link to register for the meeting, and register on or before November 11, 2024 for discounted registration fees for in-person or virtual attendance: Register for the 2025 Annual Meeting
The 2025 Annual Meeting has a mixed format: many sessions will be in-person, some will be hybrid, and a few will be fully virtual. In-person attendees will also have access to virtual sessions through the meeting’s web platform. A preliminary schedule of the program can be viewed on the Program Outline page, and more information about the registration fees is included below.
