Assistant Professor of Classics: tenure-track position beginning August 16, 2010. We seek a philologist to teach Greek and Latin at all undergraduate levels, as well as courses in civilization, literature, and mythology. We are especially interested in candidates with a demonstrated research focus in epic or tragedy and an interest in contributing to the Honors College, First-Year Experience, or other programs. Ph.D. in Classics is required. Salary is competitive. POSITION ONE: Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics: one year position beginning

August 16, 2010. We seek a generalist/Romanist to teach primarily Latin language at all undergraduate levels, possibly an introductory course in Roman civilization, and other courses in classical civilization. Teaching load is 9-12 contact hours per semester, depending upon class size. Ph.D. in classics or related field is required. Salary is competitive. Teaching load is 9-12 contact hours per semester, depending upon class size. Ph.D. in classics or related field is required. Salary is competitive.
