The Department of Classics at Dartmouthcollege seeks to appoint a visiting lecturer for one academic quarter in the Fall of 2010 (mid September – mid December). The position requires the teaching of two courses: 1) Introduction to Classical Archaeology and 2) Greek History: Archaic and Classical Greece. Preference will be given to applicants who hold a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology or Ancient History. Samples of scholarly work should be sent only at our request. Review of applications will begin June 18, 2010and will continue until July 9, 2010.
