NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE – NAPERVILLE, IL
North Central College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Classics or Classical Studies. Ph.D. required by September 1, 2007. Appointment at the rank of assistant professor is anticipated, but higher rank may be considered for suitably qualified candidates. Demonstrated ability to teach all aspects of a college-level Classics curriculum-language (Latin), literature, and culture-required. The successful candidate should be prepared to reinvigorate the Classics program and have interest in or experience with interdisciplinary teaching.

North Central College, founded in 1861, is a selective comprehensive liberal arts institution of 2500 students, located in Naperville, 30 miles west of Chicago in the heart of the Illinois Research and Development corridor. The college has a strong international program and supports international travel for students and faculty.
