The Department of Classical Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for its full-time Schrader Visiting Assistant Professorship in Classical Archaeology for the academic year 2021/22. We seek an individual with expertise in Greek Art and Archaeology. The successful candidate will teach two undergraduate courses each semester, one of which will be Classical Mythology (a large lecture course), the other a course in Greek Art and Archaeology. This position carries an annual salary of $60,000 and a $2,000 research budget. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. with strength in classical archaeology by July 1. The Department of Classical Studies has close ties to the interdisciplinary Program in Ancient Studies.
