Introducing the First Annual SCS Census

This 10-minute survey, developed by the SCS Data Committee, aims to provide a picture of the field of Classical Studies in 2024—because we can’t know where we are going until we know where we are. Like the US Census, the SCS Census has the mission to provide timely, accurate, and actionable information about the field to its members, including decision-makers at all levels.

The Census is open to anyone who identifies as connected to Classical Studies, in any way. We want to hear from undergraduates, graduate students, teachers, researchers, lecturers, professors, administrators, authors, editors, retired folks, professionals who earned a degree in Classical Studies and now work in a different sector, and everyone else. This is a chance to let the SCS know who you are and what matters to you.

You do not need to be a member of the SCS to complete it, and all responses are anonymous and confidential. The deadline to respond is Friday, November 22. Please spread the word!
