Adjunct Instructor or Adjunct Assistant Professor in Classics. The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures announces a one-year non-tenurable position in Classics at the rank of Adjunct Instructor or Adjunct Assistant Professor. Responsibilities may include Latin instruction at all levels, beginning Greek, Greek civilization/ethical tradition and Western Humanities. The teaching load is six semester courses, depending on program needs and candidate qualifications. Candidates should have at least the M.A. in Classics and show evidence of successful teaching. Strong candidates with the Ph.D. will be preferred. Submit application materials including a letter of interest and introduction, three recent supporting letters, a transcript or other listing of graduate course work completed, and proof of the highest degree earned to Linda R.
