The Department of Classics & Letters, University of Oklahoma, has been authorized to seek applicants for the position of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Classics. The duties of this position will begin with the Fall Semester, 1999. Preferred qualifications include: 1) PhD in Classics, 2) commitment to research and scholarship, 3) classroom teaching experience, and 4) interdisciplinary teaching and research interests. The university of Oklahoma Department of Classics offers the BA degree in Classics, Latin, and Letters. Applicants must be prepared to teach undergraduate courses in Classical Culture, Latin and Greek.
