The Department of Classics at the University of Wisconsin invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin August 2012. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Classics and show promise of excellence in both research and teaching. Expertise in Homer and archaic Greek epic preferred. Courses to be taught include undergraduate and graduate ancient Greek language and literature, Latin, and courses in literature in translation.
