Classics: Utah State University invites applications for a 1-year position beginning fall 1999 (report to campus in early August). The position is for a general classicist. Teaching responsibilities include two semesters of ancient Western Civilization, two semesters of Beginning Latin, an upper-level Latin course on the author of the candidate's choice, and an upper-level class in classical civilization. No research or committee responsibilities are attached to this position. The successful candidate will be eligible to compete for travel funds, and benefits are included in the salary package.
