Adjunct Instructor(s) Fall 2022–Spring 2023

The Classics Department at Gettysburg College seeks an adjunct instructor or instructors for three courses approved and scheduled for Academic Year 2022–23: Latin 102, second semester Beginning Latin (Fall 2022); Latin 101, first semester Beginning Latin (Spring 2023); and a combined 200/300 Latin poetry course (Spring 2023). The three classes are scheduled for Mon/Wed/Fri and all classes at Gettysburg College for the coming year are expected to be taught exclusively in person.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or ABD in Classics OR related fields with teaching experience. We seek one or more instructors who have a genuine interest in teaching within the liberal arts environment and strongly encourage applications from candidates who can contribute to the diversity of our community.
