The Departments of Classics and Religious Studies at Hamilton College jointly invite applications for a one-year visiting position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2021. We seek candidates to teach Latin at all levels and courses at all levels on religions of late antiquity, cross-listed in Classics and Religious Studies. Pre-doctoral, Ph.D. candidate preferred. Those who already hold a Ph.D. are welcome to apply. Satisfactory knowledge of Latin and ancient Greek is necessary. Some experience teaching Latin and/or Greek at College/University level is preferable.
