The Departments of Classics and Religious Studies at Hamilton College jointly invite applications for a one-year visiting position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2021. We seek candidates to teach Latin at all levels and courses at all levels on religions of late antiquity, cross-listed in Classics and Religious Studies. The teaching load for this position is five courses (two courses in the first semester and three courses in the second semester). ABD candidates will be considered, although candidates with a Ph.D. are preferred.

We seek candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations. Your cover letter should address the ways in which you would further the College's goal of building a diverse and inclusive educational environment.
