Millsaps College invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track visiting appointment for the 2025-2026 academic year in the Department of Greek and Roman Studies. The successful candidate will teach six courses (three a semester). We seek a broadly trained generalist to teach Greek and Latin at all levels as well as one or more courses in translation. The successful candidate should also demonstrate potential for scholarly excellence as well as a commitment to teaching at a liberal arts college and participating in the life of the department. Candidates with PhD in hand by the appointment (Aug. 1, 2025) are preferred, but ABDs may be considered.
