This page hopes to serve as a resource for institutions that now offer specific programs and/or funding which promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for underrepresented groups in the field of Classical Studies. The listing below consists of a table showing what each institution offers, with the name of the institution serving as a link to the relevant department’s website and the program/initiative name serving as a link to the relevant funding's website page.
SCS has begun to track the status of MA-PhD / PhD programs in Classics and related fields in North America with respect to two important issues: (1) whether departments and programs are accepting new graduate students for academic year 2021-2022; and (2) whether deparmtents and programs are extending funding to current students.

Violence, harassment, and discrimination against Asians, Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders have all been increasing over the past year. The shootings this week in Atlanta of six Asian women have brought discrimination and hate, and in particular gendered racism, against members of Asian communities in the US to the news headlines, but these murders are part of a larger trend with a long history. If you are looking for ways to support the AAPI community, take action, donate, or support AAPI classicists, here are some resources:
