2020 started as a year of disruption owing to COVID-19. The pandemic itself and the murder of George Floyd has forced everyone to confront inequities that are systemic in society and our educational system. As a start, and it is only a start, SCS is taking the following actions:

JACT Summer Program

JACT Latin Summer School (www.latincamp.co.uk)

Camp 2020 runs from Monday 20th July to Saturday 1st August.

2020 Fees: £350 for tuition / £820 for tuition and full food and board

Winter School in Latin Paleography and Codicology
Notre Dame

With the kind collaboration of the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana (BAV), the University of Notre Dame offers its Winter School in Latin Paleography and Codicology at its Rome Global Gateway. This two-week intensive course will introduce participants to various aspects of Latin Paleography and Western Codicology, offering a balance of theoretical and practical applications.
