The American University of Paris seeks to appoint a junior full-time, multi-disciplinary classicist with PhD in hand, teaching experience, and appropriate publications or potential to publish, starting Fall 2007. The successful candidate will cover at least two of the following areas: Classical Languages and Literatures, Ancient Art and Architecture, Ancient and Mediaeval philosophy, Candidates fluent in French will be especially welcome. Courses are taught in English.
